Fall 2025: A Letter From Kelsey Bohlender

Celebrating 10 Years of Building Home Through Zoe’s House

Dear Zoe’s House friends,

In 2014, with little more than faith and a dream to end abortion through an adoption movement, Zoe’s House was born. Over these ten years, we could never have imagined the stories God would write – expectant moms met with hope, adoptive families served with grace, and children welcomed into forever homes.

We discovered along the way that adoption is not the right path for every woman in crisis. Sometimes all she needs is an infusion of courage to step fully into motherhood.

We also learned that the overturn of Roe v. Wade did not end abortion. Instead, it created new regional hubs, one of them in our own Kansas backyard. Even there, the Lord opened fresh opportunities for us to speak life and offer hope.

We saw the vast need of thousands of adoption-ready children in foster care across Kansas and Missouri, and we said “yes” to partnering with the state to help find them forever families.

Ten years of prayer meetings, dreams scribbled on napkins, kitchen-table conversations, and friends linking arms have left a mark on this nation. Today, Zoe’s House families live from Los Angeles to Boston. Friends like you have fueled this work through your prayers, your ideas, your courage, and your resources. Together, you have made it possible for stories of hope to become stories of home.

We stand at the close of one decade and on the horizon of the next, full of untold opportunities to serve women, children, and families with dignity and the love of Christ. Thank you for walking this journey with us. Together, we look forward with faith to the stories yet to be written.

With faith from hope to home,
