Zoe is a beautiful daughter of our Executive Director, Randy Bohlender, and his wife, Kelsey.

Zoe was adopted at two days old in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2006.  That experience launched the Bohlenders into a series of five more adoptions and working to make adoption more doable for others.

Zoe is now nine years old.  She is in the third grade, loves spelling, and can wear you out with facts about marine biology.  She also gets a real kick out of seeing her name on the big sign in front of our office.  Cutting the ribbon at the Zoe’s House Adoption Agency Grand Opening was a real highlight for her!

Since they adopted Zoe, Bohlenders have gone on to adopt three more girls and two boys.  They have ten children in all, including two sets of twins.  Randy likes to tell Zoe, “You’re the little girl who made me want all the others.”

If you asked Zoe or her brothers and sisters, they would tell you that adoption is beautiful….but if you got a good look at Zoe, you wouldn’t need to ask.
