When we heard that Zoe’s House needed housing for expectant mothers, we were in a place to say “yes”— we had a space at our house that could be made into an apartment!
Having already walked through an adoption ourselves, we see how the Zoe’s House approach is very unique and special. They walk alongside women from the very beginning—and far beyond birth—with resources and tools to navigate their lives after choosing adoption.
The Space
Completing the space to get it ready for a mom was going to take more than just our willing hearts, so we took it to our community, and they joyfully rallied around this special project!
Friends donated money to finish the build out and buy the materials. We donated our time and skill in doing the labor, and others donated time to help install flooring, paint walls and ceilings, and assemble cabinets.
This apartment is a truly a labor of love from the big, wide family of God—close to $20,000 was given to the project, and we look back with amazement at what God has done with our simple “yes”. Every mother who stays here touches our lives in a beautiful way.

“…the staff at Zoe’s house walks in real relationships
with moms and go to great lengths to help them carry
the heavy load that is walking through something like this.
It’s been so sweet for us to watch and be part of.”
Zoe’s House is so honored by Eric and Grace’s creatively generous approach to meeting this truly huge need. When we say “yes” to housing a mom in crisis our hearts are filled with gratitude—for the Davis family, and for YOU. Every miracle story has the generosity and faithfulness of our Zoe partners wrapped up into it.
Thank you for being part of the wonder of making history and giving beautiful stories to babies and families this year. If you haven’t yet been able to give your year-end gift to make adoption possible, we would be honored to have you join us in this sacred mission.
