Unexpected Delivery

“Unexpected Delivery” …  take a peek at this picture!

These words are heard at Zoe’s House more and more often lately.  Friends like you have been the ones who make it possible to respond quickly, and say YES to the surprise calls.

A few weeks ago, in the early morning hours, a very courageous mama gave birth to a baby boy. Though she had not previously made an adoption plan, and this was an unexpected delivery for Zoe’s House, we were able to spring into action because partners faithfully make sure the resources needed to respond immediately are there.

Within a few hours, a precious baby boy was placed with his forever familya family ready and waiting to adopt again. This amazing adoptive family has an older son, who also was adopted. For years this sweet child had hoped and prayed for a younger sibling — suddenly, his prayers were answered, and his brother arrived.

In the first few weeks after the birth, Big Brother was sick, but this fun family got creative, and made a way for him to “meet” his little brother for the first time — on a ladder through a window!  This picture absolutely stole our hearts.

Every baby is a wonder.

Zoe’s House not only placed this baby with his forever family, but his birth mother is being cared for by our team while she grieves and heals.

You have made such a significant difference through your generosity to Zoe’s House in the past. Would getting involved again bring you joy? Know that with your donation each month to Zoe’s House — even an amount like $25 — you are providing for things like driving birth mothers to their medical and legal appointments, and caring for them in many ways both before and after birth.

Is giving again something you want to do?  There are so many beautiful stories yet to be written. The joy of giving comes alive when you know you helped make them possible.

Thank you for your friendship, and for being part of giving life and love to birth mothers, babies, and families just like this one.
