Even before he was born, Jackson was teaching his parents to trust the Lord’s timing.
Jackson’s parents, Cyrus & Ashley, came to Kansas City two weeks before his birth mother’s due date but Jackson was in no hurry.
“We had over three weeks of waiting in Kansas City before he was finally born. While that time was very difficult, it allowed us time with Mama J that we otherwise wouldn’t have had. It was also Christmas time so we felt like we got to understand in a different way the waiting of the advent season and the longing we have for Christ’s return!”

In those three weeks, Cyrus & Ashley were able to love on Mama J and show her who they were and what kind of parents they would be to her unborn child. Only the Lord knows how much her heart needed this time.
