Recently, we shared with you about Jackson, a Zoe baby adopted into love in 2021 (Read his story HERE!). Jackson was adopted by amazing parents, Cyrus and Ashley, who were committed to honoring his birth mom as the hero of their story. Jackson knows “Mama J” through her photos but recently, he got to see his Mama J in person. 

Cyrus, Ashley, Jackson and new baby sister, Lucy, got together with Mama J for the first family visit since his birth. 

“It felt like a visit with an extended family member – she even had hand-me-downs to offer us since our girls are close in age,” said Ashley.

Ashley also shared that since the family visit, Jackson has been asking to pray for Mama J.

“This is typically when we’re praying before bed and ask who he wants to pray for, but he will also come to me during the day and say, ‘pray Mama J.’ We are so thankful for this sweet part of the relationship.”

How beautiful to see hearts and families knit together through open adoption.
