We continue our Because of Love series sharing Zoe baby updates with beautiful Lydiah! 

Lydiah was born and adopted into love through Zoe’s House in 2019. Her parents, Marvin and Andrea, waited almost three years to be chosen by a birth mom and nearly lost faith in the call to adopt… but the Lord had a plan.

Andrea and Marvin have faithfully kept us updated on Lydiah over the years and we are so grateful for our little window into her life. 

Five years later…

This amazing little girl is bright, loving, adventurous and makes friends everywhere she goes. Being five and having two big brothers means you need to try EVERYTHING! Lydiah is energetically trying it all: dance, gymnastics, swimming, and reading. Her parents say she loves animals, especially her two dogs and the donkeys, cows, and horses that live in the pasture behind their yard. She has a beautiful life and an incredible family thanks to her birth mom.

Lydiah’s birth mom’s story was not an easy one but because of love, she chose life.

Her story encapsulates all that adoption is: 

Courageous… loving… traumatic… beautiful… painful… hopeful. 

Had she not had the support of our Client Care and Resource Advocate Team, she may have made a different choice. And without the generosity of our Zoe friends, we wouldn’t have been able to provide this wrap-around care.
