There are many people placed in the storylines of adoption who play important roles, often walking only part of the journey, but are so significant and meaningful.
Did you know that Zoe’s House partners with many pregnancy resource centers in our city? We want to share with you how one, Resource Health, played a part of Clayton and Tricia’s extraordinary adoption story.
As a teen, adoptive mom Tricia was introduced to Resource Health (a pregnancy resource center formally known as ‘Rachel House’) when they came to her high school to speak at her Child Development class. Their intersection in her life would show the mighty hand of God in Boone’s adoption.
Watch Resource Health’s video interview with Tricia and Clayton to hear the incredible full story.
Boone, adopted into love in 2019
Boone at 4
Boone was adopted through Zoe’s House in 2019 and we have had the amazing privilege to watch him grow up over the years. Beloved by his parents, big sister, and older brothers, his dad Clayton describes Boone as a ball of joy to everyone he meets.
Tricia recently filled us in on what’s happening in his world.
Boone, ball of joy, loves school, his dog, and has a special place in his heart for his birth mom.
Without the amazing people at Resource Health and our Zoe’s House friends like you, Boone’s birth mom might not have had the options to make a loving placement. We honor her and Resource Health.
We are grateful for our relationships with so many like Advice & Aid, Parkville Women’s Clinic, Insight Women’s Center, Birthright Kansas City, Shiloh Center, Olathe and Wyandotte Pregnancy Clinic. Our city is blessed.
When you give to pregnancy resource centers and adoption agencies you help make a way for women in crisis, children, and adoptive families. We honor YOU, our Zoe’s House friend. THANK YOU!
Because of love,
Becky Jackman
