It’s such a joy to share updates and notes from our adoptive families and Zoe babies who spent time in the NICU. Simon was in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) for 33 days but is now strong and “thriving” with his mom, dad, and big brother.
Simon’s birth mom had not made her final decision whether to parent or place him for adoption when she arrived at the hospital in active labor. He came quickly and his birth mom decided that the best choice for his future would be to place him with a family. The call to Zoe’s House came fast and we began the process of finding his family. A family was chosen and they rushed to the NICU to meet their son!
Your support of Zoe’s House made it possible for Simon, his birth mom, and his adoptive family to receive love and support during those scary-first days and months to follow. Our incredible staff provided emotional support, counsel and practical care.
“Thanks to Zoe’s House we were able to bring him into our family where he will grow strong and forever be loved.”
Thanks to the generosity of so many who support our adoption initiatives, Simon was adopted into an amazing family.
“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for Me.” – Matt. 25:40
On behalf of Simon, Cameron, Lisa, and all of the lives you touch through your partnership, we say THANK YOU!
